Carlos Dare has been a freelance sculptor in the medium of aluminium for over ten years, and has bases in various work shops around the country.The sculptures themselves are designed for outdoor as well as indoor display, and are made from strong and flexible interlocking sheets of aluminium that are cut and hand formed then riveted into design, before either priming them with colour, or clear varnished: both in turn adding to a  durable and weather resistant finish.

Most of the work, particularly the large pieces will require ground rod support to stand against the wind. The rods used are slim and leave little trace of ground disturbance, and will grant a suitable hold at a depth of 35cm.
